Özet
Son yıllarda turistlerin değişen beklenti ve istekleri, artan çevre koramca anlayış ve çevre duyarlılığı yanı sıra turistlerin doğa ile baş başa olma, ekosistemi anlama, öğrenme ve tecrübe etme yönünde değişen motivasyonları doğa turizmi, ekoturizm gibi alternatif turizm türlerinin gelişmesi ile sonuçlanmıştır. Ayrıca, son dönemde yaşanan pandemi, insanların kitle turizmi yerine alternatif turizm türlerine yönelmesine neden olmuş, böylece, ekoturizmin önemi de artmıştır. Bu bağlamda ilgili alan yazında da ekoturizm ile ilgili yayınlarda da artış meydana gelmiştir. Özellikle üniversitelerin yüksek lisans ve doktora programlarında yapılan tezlerde ekoturizme yönelik çalışmalarda artış gözlenmektedir. Bu çalışmada YÖK tez bankasında kayıtlı olan yüksek lisans ve doktora tezleri incelenmiş, tezlerin türleri, çalışma sahaları ve konuları nitel araştırma yöntemi kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir.

Abstract
Since tourism, which is among the fastest growing sectors in the world, has an important place both in terms of income source and promotion, countries have entered into different searches in tourism. Many alternative tourism types that reflect the identity of a country or a city have started to emerge for the continuity of tourism products, change in human needs and expectations and sustainable tourism. Especially with the recent pandemic period, people have turned to alternative tourism instead of mass tourism and the importance of ecotourism has increased in this direction. In this context, ecotourism has been included in the theses made especially in the graduate and doctoral programs of universities and studies have been carried out in this direction. The importance of these studies is to consider and examine the regions that are working areas in terms of ecotourism. In this study, master's and doctoral theses registered in YÖK's thesis bank were examined. The types, fields and subjects of the theses are discussed and shown in tables. The relevant literature review, which is a qualitative research method, was conducted as a data collection tool.
