Özet
Fizik alanında, termodinamik yasaların ikincisinde kendine yer bulan entropi kavramı, genel bir okuma yapıldığında düzensizliğe karşılık gelmektedir. Evrenin en büyük yasalarından biri olan termodinamik kanunlardaki karşılığı ise ısı ve sıcaklığın zaman içerisinde azaldığı yönündedir. Bu duruma sosyal açıdan bakıldığında ise evrende her şeyin çürüme ve bozulma eğiliminde olduğunu ifade etmektedir. İçinde yaşadığımız dünyada kendimizi nesneler dünyasına kaptırırken aslında hayal dünyalarımızı köreltmekteyiz. İlerleyen tarihi süreç içerisinde bu konuda yaşanılan aydınlanma, bilim ve felsefe alanında olduğu gibi sanat alanında da gündeme gelmiştir. Merak duygusu ile gelişen bilim kişiyi, evreni keşfetmeye ve kavramaya yönlendirmiştir. Bu soyut bir yönelim olduğu gibi nesneleri bilim ile kavramak soyut, yaratılan sanat yapıtları da yine aynı şekilde soyuttur. Bu soyutluğun ardından ise nesne yerine nesne fikrinin önem kazandığı kavramsal sanata bir yönelme olmuştur. Postmodern sanat ile görülmek istenen soyutlama karmaşık, düzensiz, nesneye değil kavrama odaklanan çalışmalardır. Bu makalede, postmodern sanatçıların entropi kavramını ne şekilde ele aldıkları üzerinde durularak bu çalışmalar ile entropi ilişkisi kurulması amaçlanmıştır.

Abstract
In the field of physics, the concept of entropy, which finds its place in the second of the thermodynamic laws, corresponds to disorder when a general reading is made. The equivalent of thermodynamic laws, one of the greatest laws of the universe, is that heat and temperature decrease over time. When we look at this situation from a social perspective, it is an undeniable fact that everything in the universe tends to decay and deteriorate. While we immerse ourselves in the world of objects in the world we live in, we are actually dulling our imaginations. In the following historical process, the enlightenment experienced on this subject has come to the fore in the field of art as well as in the fields of science and philosophy. Science, which develops with a sense of curiosity, has led people to explore and understand the universe. Just as this is an abstract orientation, grasping objects with science is abstract, and the works of art created are also abstract in the same way. After this abstraction, there was a tendency towards conceptual art, where the idea of the object instead of the object gained importance. The abstraction that is intended to be seen with postmodern art is complex, irregular works that focus on the concept rather than the object. In this article, it is aimed to establish a relationship between these works and entropy by focusing on how postmodern artists handle the concept of entropy.
