Özet
Kentsel ve kırsal turizm alanları içerisinde yer alan doğal ve kültürel peyzaj alanları estetik, fonksiyonel, kültürel ve rekreasyonel değerler bakımından öne çıkan alanlardır. Kıyı kenti olan Rize’de, kentsel turizm alanlarının doğal, kültürel, estetik ve işlevsel değerlerinin yanı sıra alan kullanımlarının çeşitliliği turizm potansiyelini önemli ölçüde etkilemektedir. Kentsel turizm alanlarının kırsal turizm alanlarına göre daha sınırlı sayıda kaldığı Rize’de mevcut doğal ve kültürel peyzaj ögelerinin belirlenerek ön plana çıkarılması ve bu ögelerin turizm potansiyelinin değerlendirilmesi önem arz etmektedir. Bu kapsamda kentsel turizm alanı olarak nitelendirilen, çeşitli vista noktaları sunan, doğal ve kültürel peyzaj değerlerine ve farklı alan kullanımlarına sahip Rize Ziraat/ Botanik Çay Bahçesi çalışma alanı olarak seçilmiştir. Çalışmada alanın doğal ve kültürel peyzaj değerlerinin, rekreasyonel olanaklarının turizm potansiyeline katkısını saptamak amaçlanmıştır. Mevcut doğal ve kültürel peyzaj değerlerinin belirlenerek alanın tercih edilme nedenlerinin sorgulandığı çalışmada, turizm potansiyelini arttırmaya yönelik kullanıcıların kentsel turizm noktasında peyzaj değerlerini kapsayan mekânsal deneyimleri anketler aracılığıyla değerlendirilerek öneriler geliştirilmiştir. Çalışmanın yöntemini yerinde gözlemler ve kullanıcı anketlerinin (alan kullanım nedenleri, ön plana çıkan peyzaj ögeleri) istatistiksel hesaplamalar ile değerlendirilmesi oluşturmaktır. Elde edilen veriler sonucunda alanda güçlendirilmesi ve geliştirilmesi gereken noktalar tespit edilerek, alanda öne çıkan peyzaj ögeleri ve turizm ilişkisi belirlenmiş ve alanın deneyimlenmesinde kültürel peyzajın etkisi ortaya koyulmuştur.

Abstract
Natural and cultural landscape areas within urban and rural tourism areas are prominent areas in terms of aesthetic, functional, cultural and recreational values. In Rize, which is a coastal city, the natural, cultural, aesthetic and functional values of urban tourism areas, as well as the diversity of land uses, significantly affect the tourism potential of these areas. In Rize, where urban tourism areas are more limited than rural tourism areas, it is important to identify and highlight the existing natural and cultural landscape elements and to evaluate the tourism potential of these elements. In this context, Rize Ziraat / Botanic Tea Garden, which is characterized as an urban tourism area, offers various vista points, has natural and cultural landscape values and different area uses, has been chosen as the study area. In this study, it is aimed to determine the contribution of the natural and cultural landscape values and recreational opportunities of Rize Ziraat / Botanic Tea Garden to the tourism potential. In the study, in which the reasons for the preference of the area by determining the existing natural and cultural landscape values are questioned, the spatial experiences of the users in order to increase the tourism potential, including the landscape values at the point of urban tourism, were evaluated through questionnaires and suggestions were developed. The method of the study consists of on-site observations and evaluation of user surveys (reasons for land use, prominent landscape elements) with statistical calculations. As a result of the data obtained, the points that need to be strengthened and developed in the area were determined, the prominent landscape elements and tourism relations in the area were determined and the effect of the cultural landscape on the experience of the area was revealed.
