Özet
İklim değişikliği, birbiriyle bağlantılı olan birçok sistemin etkileşimi yoluyla hem doğrudan hem de dolaylı olarak kentleri ve tüm canlıları olumsuz yönde etkileyen, karmaşık ve çok sistemli bir olgudur. Kentlerin karmaşık olan bu süreçte, sonuçları ve tehlikeleri öngörmek ve aynı zamanda olumsuz etkileri en aza indirmek için hızlı ve etkili bir şekilde tepki vermesi gerekmektedir. Bu noktada, kentlerin çevresel, sosyal ve ekonomi gibi farklı özellikleriyle ilişkili olarak kentsel dirençlilik öne çıkmaktadır. Özellikle son yıllarda daha çok üzerinde durulan bir kavram olan kentsel dirençlilik kavramının tam olarak anlaşılması önem taşımaktadır. Bu durum göz önüne alındığında çalışmada, “İklim değişikliği ile uyum sürecinde dirençliliğin rolü nedir?” ve “Kentsel ısı adası etkisine karşı dirençli kent modelinin temel parametreleri nelerdir? sorularına cevap aranmaktadır. Bu doğrultuda, iklim değişikliğinin kentler üzerindeki etkileri, kentsel dirençlilik kavramı açıklanarak, dirençli kent modelinin temel özelliklerine değinilmiştir. Kentsel dirençliliğin hazırlık, emilim, iyileşmek, uyum sağlama ve dönüştürülebilirlikten oluşan beş temel boyuta dayandığı sonucuna ulaşıldığı çalışma, bir bütün olarak ve temel noktalara değinerek kentsel ekosistemler için daha bütünsel değerlendirmelerin yapılabilmesi için kentsel dirençlilik özelliklerine dayalı birleştirici bir çerçeve sunmaktadır.

Abstract
Climate change is a complex and multi-systemic phenomenon that negatively affects cities and all living things, both directly and indirectly, through the interaction of many interconnected systems. In this complex process, cities need to react quickly and effectively to anticipate consequences and dangers and at the same time minimize negative impacts. At this point, urban resilience comes to the fore in relation to different characteristics of cities such as environmental, social, and economic. It is important to fully understand the concept of urban resilience, which is a concept that has been emphasized more in recent years. Considering this situation, the study asks, "What is the role of resilience in the adaptation process to climate change?" and “What are the basic parameters of the city model that is resilient to the urban heat island effect? Answers to these questions are sought. In this regard, the effects of climate change on cities and the concept of urban resilience are explained and the basic features of the resilient city model are mentioned. The study, which concludes that urban resilience is based on five basic dimensions consisting of preparation, absorption, recovery, adaptation, and transformability, offers a unifying framework based on urban resilience characteristics to make more holistic assessments of urban ecosystems as a whole and by touching on the basic points.
