Abstract


The Impact of Individual Innovation Perceptions of Tourism Faculty Students on Department Satisfaction
Countries need to have social systems to maintain their social life patterns and to be compatible with economic, social, cultural, technological and scientific changes. For these social systems to perform their functions in the best way, an innovative education system that can train qualified manpower is needed. The educational systems are affected both by national domestic economic formations and social dynamics, changes in various fields such as scientific and technological developments as well as globalization at the international level. In a competitive environment that is changing rapidly and hardening day by day in our present age, the field of education, like all other areas of life, needs to renew constantly and change its practices to reach qualities that meet the needs of the century. The aim of this study is to determine the effect of individual innovation perceptions of tourism faculty students on department satisfaction. Within the scope of the research, it has been found that the students' perceptions of individual innovation differ according to gender, department and classes, and these perceptions have a positive effect on department satisfaction.
