Abstract
Analysis of the Memory Improvement of the Children Two Years After They Were Applied Memory Training at the Age of Six
In the current study, the children at the age of six who are attending preschool education institution where applied memory training program. Two years later, the impact of this program was analyzed on children’s memory improvement The sampling group has been taken 40 children (example n:20, control n:20). In the study, Children’s Memory Scale (CMS), developed by Morris Cohen (1997) was used. Six age years and eigth age years children’s points of learning, delayed recognition, visual and verbal short and long terms memories and general memory index have been compared. Mann Whitney-U Test and Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test were used in the analysis of the data. As a conclusion; it was found that example group’s delayed recognition, visual and verbal short and long terms memories and general memory indexes points were higher than control group’s CMS points.
