Abstract
Promotion of Local Food of the Western Black Sea Region: A Content Analysis on the Governor's and District Municipality Websites
The main purpose of the study is to analyze the content shared visually and textually on the web pages of the district governorship and district municipalities, which have an important place in local government, of local dishes, which are among the reasons for visiting destinations. For this purpose, A total of 182 pieces of data, 58 (32%) of which were visual and 124 (68%) were textual. on local food on the web pages of the district governorship and district municipalities of 6 provinces (Kastamonu, Bartın, Karabük, Bolu, Zonguldak and Düzce) in the Western Black Sea region were analyzed in accordance with the content analysis method. As a result of the examination, it was seen that the textual data were more than the visual data, and the municipality web pages included more local food promotion materials than the district governor's web pages. In addition, it has been determined that there are no materials for the promotion of local dishes on the web pages of some district governorships and district municipalities in the Western Black Sea Region.
