Abstract


The Role of Japan Management Model in Solving Managerial Problems of Smes
Intense competition, formed by globalization process, necessitates a permanent development of SMEs and pursuit of working methods in the sector. Technology development and prevalence of globalization in every field require the awareness of national and international applications and working methods in their own field in order to catch up with the rivalry and take advantage. By familiarizing with Japanese management patterns and scrutinizing the manner of approaching of the attitudes of management patterns of Japanese towards business, to business problems; Japanese management model has been thought to be the solution for the managerial problems of SMEs in Turkey. The main problem of SMEs is the absence of qualified human resources. The main philosophy of Japanese management patterns is producing solution for human resources problem. In this study, by considering human factor as the most important management element, it has been achieved to compare local management patterns with Japanese management patterns.
