Özet
Fatih ilçesi, 1985 yılında UNESCO tarafından “tarihi yarımada” olarak tanımlanmıştır. Bu araştırmanın amacı anket tekniğinden yararlanılarak Fatih’te bulunan tarihi ve kültürel varlıklar ile destinasyondaki turizm hakkında turistlerin tutum ve değerlendirmelerini ortaya çıkarmaktır. Bu hedef kapsamında turistlere demografik özellikleri ile imkân, imaj ve tutum ve davranışları ölçme temelinde sorular yöneltilmiştir. Araştırmada nicel araştırma tekniklerinden bağıntısal analiz yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Anket yardımıyla elde edilen veriler SPSS 26 programına aktarılmıştır. İstatistiksel analiz yeterliliği için geçerlilik, güvenirlik, basıklık ve çarpıklık testleri yapılmıştır. İstatistik sonuçları kapsamında araştırma soruları geliştirilmiş ve ankette yer alan yargıların kendi aralarındaki yön ve ilişkileri saptanmıştır. Kültürel turizm çekiciliği konusunu anlamlandırmak için Fatih ilçesindeki müzelere ait 2005-2019 yılları müze istatistikleri elde edilmiştir. Buna göre tarihi yarımada’daki müzeleri ziyaret eden turist sayısının son 15 yıl içerisinde büyük ölçekte artış ve azalış eğilimleri göstermesinde gelen turistlerin tarihi yarımada hakkındaki değişkenlik gösteren tutum ve algısı, Türkiye’nin bu dönem içinde bulunduğu olumsuz koşullar ve ikili ülke ilişkilerinin olumsuz etkisinin de olduğu sonucu ortaya çıkmıştır.

Abstract
Fatih district has been described as a “historical peninsula” by UNESCO since 1985. The purpose of this research is to reveal the attitudes and evaluations of tourists about historical and cultural assets and destination tourism located in Fatih using the survey technique. The goal of this study is to show the attitudes and assessment of tourists about the historical and cultural heritage in Fatih district and destination tourism by using the survey technique. Within the scope of this goal, questions were asked to the tourists on the base of measuring their demographic characteristics, opportunities, images, attitudes, and behaviors. The correlation analysis method from quantitative research techniques has been used in the research. The dataset obtained with the help of the survey has been transposed to the SPSS 26 program. Validity, reliability, kurtosis, and skewness tests have been performed for statistical analysis adequacy. Within the content of statistical results, research questions have been developed and the direction and relations between the judgments in the questionnaire had been determined. The museum statistics of the museums in Fatih district for the years 2005-2019 has been obtained to make sense of the cultural tourism attraction. Accordingly, the increasing and decreasing trends in the number of tourists visiting museums on the historical peninsula over the past 15 years is largely affected by the changing attitudes and perceptions of tourists towards Turkey, the negative effects of adverse conditions of Turkey in this period of time, and bilateral relations with other countries.
