Abstract

This research was carried out to determine the bibliometric properties of postgraduate theses on geographical indication within the framework of various parameters and to contribute to the literature. The research data were obtained from the database of the Higher Education Council National Thesis Center (YOKTEZ). 45 theses made between 2001-2019 could be reached in the research using the keywords of geographical indication, geographical indicated and geographical indicating. Two theses not related to the subject were excluded from the evaluation, and a total of 43 theses, 34 of which were master theses and 9 were of doctoral dissertations, were examined within the scope of the research. The findings reveal that the number of theses has increased in recent years and the most studies were carried out in 2019 (30.2%).
