Comparative Measurement of Cash Flow Based Financial Performance in BIST Food and Beverage Sector with TOPSIS and ARAS Methods
The food and beverage sector, which has an important place in the country's economies, is also one of the oldest branches of industry. There is an intensely competitive environment in this sector, where demand is continuous. In such an environment, healthy and strong businesses with financial structures will be able to survive. In this study, it is aimed to measure the cash flow based financial performances of the companies traded in the food and beverage sector in Borsa Istanbul using TOPSIS and ARAS methods. As a result of the study covering the period of 2013-2017, it was determined that although the financial performance measurements made by both methods yield different results, the ranking results, in general, are quite close to each other.
