Abstract
The Positioning of Trabzonspor Sports Club on Media: The Case Of Trabzon
Trabzonspor club was founded in 1967 and operates in many different sports, especially football. Trabzon football team had six championships between 1975 and 1985. For this reason, Trabzonspor, which is shown as one of the four big teams of Turkish football, also gets threceives substantiale support of a bigfrom fans on the match days. The matches of Trabzonspor, which is hasa supporters in almost every country of the world, have a wide place in local and national media. Especially on the days of the team match, a lot ofnumerous posts are made on various social media platforms, and these posts are followed by the fans and an interaction interactive environment is created. This sStudy was carried out to demonstrate the positioning of the Trabzonspor football team in the media. 500 Trabzonspor supporters participated in the research using the field study method. The results of the research suggest that p; Participants (fans of Trabzonspor) do not generally trust the sports media. Almost half of the respondents think that they are biased towards national media teams. Again, the participants of the research stated that they used more social media after the matches of Trabzonspor that they won. The participants stated that they came across the news about Trabzonspor the most on social media.
