Özet
Sinop, gerek coğrafi konumu, gerekse doğal, tarihi ve kültürel değerleri açısından Türkiye için potansiyeli oldukça yüksek turizm merkezlerinden birini oluşturmaktadır. Sinop’un bir turizm merkezi olarak gelişimine öncülük etmek için öncelikle Sinop turizmini ön plana çıkaran en önemli aktörlerin belirlenmesi gerekmektedir. Bu çalışmanın amacı Sinop’ta turizm konusunda yayınlanmış akademik çalışmaları (makaleler, tam metin bildiriler ve tezler) inceleyerek, alanyazında Sinop turizmini ön plana çıkaran araştırma konularının yıllar içindeki değişimini bibliyometrik analizle ortaya koymaktır. Bu amaçla Google Scholar üzerinden on yıllık bir periyotta (2010-2020) “Sinop” ve “turizm” anahtar kelimeleri kullanılarak elde edilen 45 makale ve bildiri incelenmiştir. Buna ek olarak, Yükseköğretim Kurulu Başkanlığı Ulusal Tez Merkezi veritabanı aracılığı ile elde edilen 21 tez çalışması incelenmiştir. Elde edilen bulgulara göre incelenen makaleler ve bildiriler çoğunlukla “ekolojik turizm, tarım ve çiftlik”, “alternatif turizm” ve “Sinop Cezaevi ve hüzün turizmi” ile ilgilidir. Tez çalışmaları ise daha çok “Hüzün turizmi, turizm talebi ve yaşam kalitesi” ile ilgilidir. Bulgular Sinop'ta turizm üzerine yapılabilecek gelecekteki araştırmalara yol gösterici niteliktedir.

Abstract
Sinop constitutes one of the tourism centers with a notably high potential for Turkey in terms of both its geographical location and its natural, historical, as well as cultural values. In order to lead the development of Sinop as a tourism center, first of all, it is necessary to determine the most crucial actors that bring Sinop tourism to the fore. The aim of this study is to examine the academic studies (articles, full-text proceedings, and dissertations) published on tourism in Sinop, and to reveal the shift of the prominent research topics with bibliometric analysis in the literature. For this purpose, 45 articles and proceedings as well as 21 dissertations were examined. The articles’ data were obtained from Google Scholar with the keywords "Sinop" and "tourism" over a ten-year period (2010-2020). In addition, the online database of the National Thesis Center of Council of Higher Education was used to obtain the dissertations’ data. According to the findings, the articles and proceedings are mostly about "ecological tourism, agriculture and farm", "alternative tourism" and "Sinop Prison and dark tourism". On the other hand, the dissertations are mostly about "Dark tourism, tourism demand and quality of life". The findings guide future research on tourism in Sinop.
