Abstract
Safranbolu, Yazıköy Church (Architecture, Decoration, Liturgical Elements)
The subject of the study is the Post Byzantine Church in Yazıköy which is situated 7 kilometers east of Safranbolu town. There are only a few researches carried out on Yazıköy Church. In these papers, changes of the structure have been examined. Architectural details, decorations and liturgical building elements of the building have not been determined. The aim of this study is to investigate the features of the plan, ornament and liturgical elements of Yazıköy Church in detail; to document the current state of the church; and to discuss the problems regarding the preservation of the church.
