Abstract
The Process of Teacher Candidates Service-Learning and The Views Relating with The Attainments
Service-Learning is defined as a teaching method which is merging community needs with schedule based education and connected with academic content and standarts. Service-Learning which is added to educational schedule as for 2006 fundemantal purpose is for the teacher candidates to decorate them with the skill of preparing solution projects. On one hand this process creates social sensitivity, sence of responsibility and awareness; on the other hand it constitutes corparation, solidarity, skill of team work, effective communication self assessment and self confidence. Nevertheless being a job of social responsibilty emerging with society and the role of society leading makes the teaching more significant than any other jobs. İn the researh initially Service-Learning edification teacher candidates and university –communite converging is emphasized with the lesson mentioned. 74 teacher candidates took part in the lesson process and quality research in which the assessment is conducted in regard to their attainments in order for the assessment to be more affective and prolific on basis of hardships and contributions of this lesson to the community and personel and occupational development. Suggestions are developed.
