Abstract
Visitor Satisfaction at Ulugöl Natural Park
Recreation, one of the requirements of a quality life drives people to natural life. Protected natural parks provide efficient means that benefits people by preservation of nature and natural resources. In this respect, natural parks are important zones for urban people for recreational activities. This study carried out in Ulugöl Natural Park in Ordu City. The aim of study is the presentation of recreational activities in the area, expectations and satisfactions of visitors and their perspective on the competence of the area. In this scope, a questionnaire which is occurred 19 questions was conducted. The survey was designed to found the relation between the preference of participants to utilize the park, the significant features of the zone for them and factors of age, civil status, gender, educational status also individuality. Consequently, for which purpose the respondents’ using the area was stated and the analysis results of the survey which was applied in this scope, the suggestions for recreational activities were developed.
