Abstract
An Analysis on the Development of Management in Turkey from the Perspective of Managerial Reforms
By globalization, development of quality in the organizational structure in governmental oragnizations has come into prominence as an inevitable necessity. Governmental organizations in Turkey where it is expected to enable improvements consistent with the changing world issues haven’t provided the prospected changes in terms of organizational structure and management. In the managerial period beginning from the establishment of Turkish Republic until the planned period the rearrangement efforts and requirements in this issue have become evident. By the planned period it has seen that the the rearrangement issues get together with the development plans. However, the current managerial structure demonstrates a follow-up of Ottoman Empire managerial system. In this context the main aim of this study is to examine the managerial reforms and its applications in Turkey. By examining the documents beginning from Ottoman Empire developments and transformation in management system are presented in an historical perspective. In order to present the development of management in the development plans content analysis is used in this study.
