Abstract


Examining the Effect of the Home Based Mother-Infant Education Program in the Development of 10 - 12 Month Old Infant
This study was conducted in order to find out the effect of Home Based Mother-Infant Education Program prepared for 10-12 month old infants in the development of infants. The sample of the study consisted of 44 infants aged between 10 and 12 months. The longitudinal model was used in this study. The educator played developmental games with the infants 45 minutes in a week during eight weeks. General Information Form and the Development Check List developed by the researcher were used to collect the data in the study. The data were analyzed using frequency and percentage tables. As a result of this study, it was determined that the games played with infants had positive effects on his social-emotional, linguistic, psychomotor and cognitive development areas.
