Özet
2014 yılında UNESCO Dünya Kültür Mirası Geçici Listesi’ne alınan Kasaba Köyü Mahmutbey Camii, Candaroğulları Beyliği’nin en önemli eserlerinden biri olarak günümüze kadar ulaşmıştır. Anadolu’daki 13–14. yüzyıla ait ahşap yapılar arasında bezeme ve mimari açıdan ünik olan Camii, kalem işi bezemeleriyle günümüze özgün halde gelen tek yapı olması nedeniyle oldukça önemlidir. Mahmutbey Camii’nin yanı sıra önem arz eden iki hamam yapısı, konak, serender gibi ahşap mimari örneklere sahip olan ve Çobanoğulları Beyliği'nin ilk yerleşim yeri olan Kasaba Köyü ise önemli bir destinasyon noktası olma yolundadır. Bu çalışmanın amacı Kasaba Köyü ve UNESCO Dünya Kültür Mirası Geçici Listesi’nde bulunan Mahmutbey Camii hakkında kısa bilgi vermek, Kasaba Köyü’nün ve Mahmutbey Camii’nin kültürel miras açısından önemi üzerine durmak, her iki unsurun da Kastamonu turizmine ve ekonomisine katkısını incelemektir. Bu bağlamda inceleme sürecinde özellikle daha önce yapılan çalışmalardan ve anketlerden elde edilen verilerin yanı sıra alan ziyaretleri temel alınmıştır. Bu verilerden yola çıkarak Kastamonu’nun kültürel miras öğeleri arasında önemli bir yere sahip olan Mahmutbey Camii ve Kasaba Köyü’nün destinasyon, tanınırlık sorunları ve Kastamonu turizmine nasıl katkı sağlayacağı konusunda tespitler yapılmaya çalışılmıştır. Yapılan incelemeler sonucunda, her ne kadar ziyaretçi memnuniyeti yüksek olsa da Köyün ulaşım sorunları ve Camii’nin personel yetersizliğine ek olarak tanıtım eksikliğinin ön plana çıktığı görülmektedir.

Abstract
Kasaba Village, Mahmutbey Mosque that by entering UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Tentative List in 2014, has reached the present day as one of the most important works of Candarogulları Principality. The Mosque which is unique in terms of architecture and decoration between the wooden structures belonging to 13 - 14 centuries in Anatolia, has a great importance as it is only structure that has survived to the present day with its hand-drawn decorations. Besides the Mahmutbey Mosque, the Kasaba Village that the first settlement of the Çobanoğulları Principality, with two public baths, wooden architectural examples such as mansion and serender is on its way to becoming an important destination point. The aim of this study; to give brief information about the Town Village and Mahmutbey Mosque, which is on the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Tentative List, to dwell on the importance of the Town Village and Mahmutbey Mosque in terms of cultural heritage and to examine the contribution to Kastamonu tourism and economy. In this context, in addition to the data obtained from previous studies and surveys, field visits were taken as the basis in the examination process. Based on these data, it has been tried to make determinations about the Mahmutbey Mosque and Kasaba village, which have an important place among the cultural heritage items of Kastamonu, and how they will contribute to the destination, recognition problems and Kastamonu Tourism. As a result of the examinations, it is seen that although the visitor satisfaction is high, the transportation problems of the village and the lack of promotion of the Mosque in addition to the lack of personnel come to the fore.
